Luther Kelly Wallace, 75, of Montezuma, Georgia, departed this earth for Glory on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Kelly was born and raised in Eustis, Florida. His whole life long, Kelly loved the outdoors. He found his greatest joys in hunting, fishing, and in the stories about what happened in the woods and on the water. Kelly believed that fishing solved most of his problems and that hunting solved the rest. So many of his treasured friendships were forged over campfires, at deer camps, standing around dog boxes, walking behind good gun dogs, and at the fish cleaning table. Kelly was a beekeeper. He found such pleasure in listening to the hum of the hive and remembering and telling of beekeeping adventures (and misadventures!) he had with his father, grandfather, and uncle. Kelly was of the Baptist faith. Kelly was an Air Force veteran and served his country proudly during the Vietnam era. Kelly was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Eustis, Florida. Kelly is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Sallie Dillard Wallace, his daughter, Rana Marie Wallace, his son, Andrew Kelly Wallace, and his sister, Blanche Marie Wallace (Ray Smith).
