Family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion - St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.Pastor Barbara Koch will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lucile was born April 18, 1923, in Ideal, Georgia, to the late Stokey Greene Wisham and Ada Lou Layfield Wisham.She was a faithful and devoted member of Mt. Zion - St. Luke Lutheran Church and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children:Thomas F. Williams of Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Franchelle M. Arnold (James) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; four grandchildren: Fanchone Powell (Leigh), Becky Brewer (David), Calvin Williams (Amy), and Daniel Williams; nine great-grandchildren: Merlan Powell (Ansley), Adan Powell, LeighAn Goodwin (Marty), Ansleigh Williams, Lawton Williams, Macy Williams, Brian Harris (Caroline), Casey Harris, and Malorie Globensky (Gavin).Seven great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews also survive.She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Merlan Williams and granddaughter, Valerie Williams.
