A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Montezuma, Georgia. Pastor Barbara Koch will be officiating.Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.
Jimmy was born on May 1, 1953 in Montezuma to the late Henry Arthur Taylor and
Jeanette Hobbs Taylor.He is survived by his wife, Leanne Sherrill Taylor of Montezuma, Ga. daughter, Leslie Borders and her husband Jeremy from Warner Robins, Ga. sister, Janet Taylor Worlery and her husband John from Birmingham, AL. Jimmy also leaves behind four grandchildren; Judson Werner, Ryder Borders, Clara June Borders and Olivia Adeline Borders.He was an electrical engineer and owner of Taylor Electric in Montezuma for many years.Jimmy loved boating, riding four-wheelers and spending time with his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Mary's Episcopal Church or the American Heart Association.
