Woodrow D. Hobbs

Mr. Hobbs was born May 30, 1918 in Taylor County, GA, to the late Owen David Hobbs and Mary Katherine McDaniel Hobbs. He was self-employed as a farmer for many years. He was a member and Trustee of Pine Level United Methodist Church.In addition to his parents, Mr. Hobbs was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-seven years, Frances Wadsworth Hobbs, a brother, Sidney Hobbs, and a sister, Mildred Hobbs Miller.
Mr. Hobbs is survived by two children, Sylvia Hogg of Oglethorpe, GA, and Buddy Hobbs and his wife Jane of Oglethorpe, GA; four grandchildren: Walt Hogg and his wife Traci, Beverly Bergman and her husband James, Ryan Hobbs and his wife Camee, Adam Hobbs and his wife Elizabeth; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and a host of other family and friends also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made in his name to Pine Level United Methodist Church, c/o Sylvia Hogg; 1622 Whatley Road, Oglethorpe, GA 31068 or to Hospice Care Options, 306 N Davis Dr. Ste C., Warner Robins, GA, 31093.
