The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Cedar Valley Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the funeral home.
(Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing practices will be in place and if you're attending the funeral home, church service or graveside service, face masks should be worn and no more than 50 percent building capacity.)
He was born October 25, 1949 in Montezuma, the son of the late Henry Howard Jordan and Thelma Barker Jordan Williams.He was employed for over 18 years as an operator with Tyson Foods in Oglethorpe, Georgia.Mr. Willie enjoyed fishing, golfing, gambling, watching westerns on T.V. and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchilden.
His memory will forever be cherished by his children: Robbie Jordan (Carrie) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Dale Jordan (Leila) of Oglethorpe, Georgia and Tonya Martinez of Americus, Georgia; three siblings: Gary Dale Jordan of Leesburg, Georgia, Major "Joe" Jordan of Lizella, Georgia and Phyllis Shirah of Montezuma, Georgia; seven grandchildren: William Jordan, Hunter Jordan, Carlee Jordan, Tiffany Jordan, Tara Jordan Thomas Spradley, C. J. Kirschman (Rachel), Michael Kirschman (Niki). Dylan Kirschman, Kaitlyn Martinez and Connor Kirschman.Also surviving are four great-grandchildren: Carmen Dakota Jordan, Callie Jordan, Phoenix Lloyd, Marshall Kirschman and a host of other family and friends.
