Willie F. Calhoun, Jr.

MONTEZUMA, GA – Willie F. Calhoun, Jr. was born May 21, 1954 to the late Willie F. Calhoun, Sr. and Doris Mae Lee Calhoun. “Rabbit” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends. He was born and raised in Terrell & Dougherty County, GA. Willie learned several trades in his younger years. He enjoyed being around his family and he will me missed by all.

On Monday. January 16, 2024 Willie entered eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his brother, Shelly Calhoun. Precious memories remain with his children, Tamika Calhoun, Jerome Brown, Joshua Robinson and grandchildren, Kierra Calhoun and Javon Knight; sister, Stacey Pinkney (Charles Pinkney);  five brothers, Kalvin Calhoun (Allison Calhoun), Michael Calhoun (Samantha Calhoun), John Calhoun Jr, Willie J. Calhoun and Sammy L. Calhoun;  two sisters, Teresa M. Calhoun and Seprina Calhoun; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. Interment will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma, GA.
