OGLETHORPE, GA - Mr. William Codie Johnson, 52, of Oglethorpe, Georgia entered into rest on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
William was born on August 9, 1966 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Robert Johnson and Clara Nell Rogers Johnson.He was best known for his time spent at the Silver Dollar Race Way in Reynolds, Georgia.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Kirksey officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Cemetery in Byromville, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Ryan Johnson (Bailey Wilson) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; three siblings: Kathy Crook (Ronnie) of Dooling, Georgia, Judy Clark (Freddie) of Wewahitcka, Florida and Monica Pritchard (Larry) of Americus, Georgia. Also surviving is a grandchild, Noah Wilson and several nieces and nephews.William was preceded in death by two brothers: Kim Jones and Robert Lamar Johnson.
