Byron, GA - William Hugh Howell, age 70, of Byron, GA passed away, Monday, April 5, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April. 8. at 1 PM in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma with Rev. Curtis Kirksey officiating. Burial will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 8. from 11 AM, until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Mr. Howell was born, August 29, 1939 in Eastman, GA to Herman C. Howell and Mable Peacock Howell. He was a self-employed welder and of the Baptist faith. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

1 Daughter - Elaine Woodard of Oglethorpe, GA

2 Brothers - Dwight Howell (Mary) of Macon, GA
Donnie Howell of Lizella, GA

1 Sister - Faye Mullis of Macon, GA

18 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma has charge of funeral arrangements.
