ANDERSONVILLE, GA - Mr. Wayne Edward Myers Sr., age 74, of Andersonville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at his residence.

Wayne was born January 19, 1944 in Bradenton, Florida to the late Henry Dewey Myers, Sr. and Rosa Lee Peterson.He was self-employed in the construction business.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his soul mate, Brenda Cox of Andersonville, GA.; three sisters: Betty Barfield ofChesapeke, VA, Charline Logue of Marion, SC., Frances Ann "Candy" Burdette of Crawfordville, FL; four children: Wayne Myers, Jr. of Manchester, TN andKim Myers of Manchester, TN, John Kennedy of Americus, GA and Mike Kennedy of Tallahassee, FL. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Corey Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Hannah Thompson, Christopher Myers, Brandon Noe, Zach Strange, Kimberly Kennedy, Kirsten Kennedy and eight great-grandchildren: Lilly and Mason Strange, Brandon Noe, Jr., Hazel Nightengale, Gracie Thompson, Macy Thompson,Dalton Thompson and Evan ThompsonAlong with his parents, he is preceded in death by seven siblings: Henry Dewey Myers Jr., Leon Myers, Charles Myers, Linda Fruggiero, Martha Hunt, Jimmy Myers, David "Cowboy" Myers and Mary Louise Myers.
