MONTEZUMA, GA - Voncile Satterfield Ransom, age 91, of Montezuma, GA passed away, Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Montezuma Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation was from 6 - 8 PM, Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM, Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Montezuma with Dr. Randy Gregg officiating. Burial followed in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma.
She was born on December 04, 1919 in Duluth, GA to the late John W. Satterfield and Pearl Seine Satterfield. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Montezuma for many years and was preceded in death by her husband, John Julian Ransom; a son, James Kenneth Butler and granddaughter, Julie Anne Kiff.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye (Rex) McDonald of Montezuma, GA; son and daughter-in-law, John Stephen (Denise) Ransom of Montezuma, GA; 3 grandchildren, Jack Kiff, Jr., Kylie Ransom, Brice Ransom;
4 great grandchildren, Kolbee Taylor, Sydney Kiff, Kaeden Brown, Jackson Kiff.
