SUMMERVILLE, SC - Vivian M. (Parker) Myers, 86, of Summerville, S.C. died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Born April 16, 1929, in Ellaville, Georgia, she was the youngest daughter of the late Roy Lee Mathews and Theresa F. McMillon. Vivian retired from Charleston Air Force Base. She was a member of Corinth United Methodist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Parker of 46 years and husband of 20 years, Clarence John Myers and two grandsons, Keith William Sullivan and Michael Ray Sullivan.
Vivian leaves a sister, Julia M. Holland of Fortson, Georgia and a daughter, Susan Parker Sullivan (Nathan) of North Charleston, S.C., a son, William David Parker (Denise) of Shelton, Washington and a son, Mark Zane Parker (Barbara) of Charleston, S.C., two grandsons Kenneth B. Sullivan (Tracy) of Charleston, S.C. and Mathew L. Parker (Elaina) of Ladson, S.C., three granddaughters, Tracy M. Babington (Shawn) of Camp Lejeune, N.C., Tina M. Parker of Munford, Tenn. and Rachael Parker of Summerville, S.C., and six (6) great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-3:45 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA.
