Virginia Costos

Mrs. Costos was born April 14, 1922 in Macon County, GA to the late Russell English and Willie Mathis English. She worked as a nurse, was a member of Mt. Zion- St. Luke Lutheran Church, was a past president of the Junior League of Americus, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Costos; and two sisters, Elizabeth Thigpen and Doris Trussell.
Mrs. Costos is survived by three sons, Robert A. (Patricia) Collins, III of Cobb, GA, Rodney R. (Lisa) Collins of Cordele, GA, and Richard L. (Jeanie) Collins of Oglethorpe, GA; two daughters, Virginia (Billy) Martin of Oglethorpe, GA and Glennis C. Beacham of Atlanta, GA; and brother-in-law, Bobby Trussell of Warner Robins, GA. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
