Verda Yoder Overholt

Verda Yoder Overholt, age 75, of Montezuma, GA passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, May 8 at Clearview Mennonite Church with Pastors Noah Yoder and Donnie Swartzentruber officiating. Burial followed in Montezuma Mennonite Church Cemetery.

She was born March 14, 1935 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Sol. W. Yoder and Cora Miller Yoder. She was a homemaker and member of Clearview Mennonite Church.

Survivors include her husband, Henry W. Overholt of Montezuma, GA; two daughters, Susan Overholt of Sarasota, FL, Rose E. Yoder and husband, Laban of Montezuma, GA; four sons, William S. Overholt and wife Lydia of Marshallville, GA, Henry Overholt, Jr. and wife Verda of Montezuma, GA, Steven Overholtand wife Kaylene of Marshallville, GA, Marcus Overholt and wife Ramona of Marshallville, GA; two sisters, Marie Swartzentruber and husband Daniel of Montezuma, GA, Irene Weaver and husband Eli of Greensburg, KY; three brothers, William S . Yoder and wife Marilyn of La Russell, Missouri, Enos S. Yoder and wife Oneta of Barnwell, SC, Sol Yoder, Jr. and wife Georganna of Montezuma, GA; 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
