In the early 1970's my family purchased the old Tindol home on North Dooly Street, I was ten years old. My father then began to teach me renovations of old homes. It took just about a year to renovate this home. Later on Montezuma's south side, my dad built about twenty five new homes, in an area known as Philliptown. At that time, my grandfather and I began nailing down plywood floors and painting. On Hwy 49 towards Andersonville, past the Head Estate, he built seven homes on the right-hand side of the highway, with my father showing me what to do every step of the way. As you pass this area on the right-hand side, this was always known as Tuckerville. I began my business in 1990 in South Florida remodeling old homes. In 2005, I began building new homes around Lake Okeechobee, Florida and today I am 22 years and going strong in the business. May my father rest in peace for eternity and God bless.
