Timothy "Skippy" Sanders

Timothy “Timmy” Lane Sanders, of Garden Valley, Georgia, age 52, passed away Saturday, May 20th, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at 4:30 PM at George Hook Landing in Montezuma, Georgia.

Timmy was born on September 4th, 1970. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his friends and family. He was a free spirit who you never saw without a smile. Timmy was a master mechanic and a jack of all trades.

Mr. Sanders is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Hill, and Betty Hill along with his aunt and uncle, Voncille, and Melvin Hill.

Timmy is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Charissa Sanders, his mother Mary Griffith, and his two sisters, Crystal (Zack) Griffith and Melissa (Kevin) Cromer, his five children, Scott Watson (Erica), Franky Watson, Allisa Stephens (Eric), Mitchell Davis, Alan Watson, and his brother, Michael Grimes. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Kensley Stephens, Caden Stephens, and Layla Watson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
