Ideal, GA - Thelma Albritton Fowler, of Ideal, Ga. went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2010 after a short illness at Flint River Hospital in Montezuma, Ga.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 2 PM at Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, Ideal, Ga. with Rev. Wayne Fowler, Rev. Randy Harris and Rev. Sidney Jones, officiating. Burial followed in Little Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.

Visitation was at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma from 7 - 9 PM on Friday, Sept. 24.

At other times, the family received friends the residence, 406 Tom Watson Avenue in Ideal, GA.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Taylor County to Henry G. and MarjorieJones Albritton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Fowler and two sons, Kenneth and infant Larry Fowler.

She is survived by:

5 sons:
Gene and Alberta Fowler of Camilla, Ga
Tom and Velma Fowler of Rupert, Ga
Fred and Sarah Fowler of Ideal, Ga
David and Jean Fowler of Rupert, Ga
George and Diane Fowler of Andersonville, Ga

daughter:
Laverne and Mack Bentley of Ideal, Ga

daughter-in-law:
Bonnie Simmons

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 living half brothers and sister and a brother-in-law, Gleason Fowler.

She was an active member of Little Bethel Church for many years and worked as a homemaker. She was best known for her love and devotion to her family.
