Mrs. Tammi Barnes, age 52, of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away, Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home, with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM, from the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia. Pastor Johnny Cromer and Pastor Craig Allen will officiate the service.
Family will receive visitors one hour before the funeral service.
Burial will follow in the Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oglethorpe, GA.
Mrs. Tammi was born on June 5, 1969 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Jack Albritton and the late Nell Cromer. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Kay Taylor and her loving father-in-law, Mack Barnes and her step-father, Thomas Taylor. She was raised by her loving grandmother, Fannie Mae Cromer who preceded her death. She was a homemaker, a devoted employee of Bilfinger Industrial and a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center in Oglethorpe, GA. She sung in the gospel group Living By Grace. She loved the Lord and cherished and adored her husband, her kids and especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed catfish noodling and hunting. She didn't meet a stranger and loved everyone.
Survivors include her loving husband, Mack Joey Barnes of Oglethorpe, GA; her four children, Joey Trey Barnes (Deanna) of Reynolds, GA; Michael Travis of Oglethorpe, GA, Trent Ellis Barnes (Blake) of Reynolds, GA and DeeAnna Barnes Bullock (Zack) of Ideal, GA; five grandchildren, Dylan Trey Barnes, Tucker Ellis Barnes, Grady Mack Barnes, Brylee Grace Barnes and Hunter Roy Barnes; her two sisters, Michelle Taylor of Tallahassee, FL and Wanda Gail Layfield of Oglethorpe, GA;three special grandkids, Gunner Dollar, Colby Dollar and Blake Barrow; her loving mother-in-law, Rachael Annette Barnes; her two brothers-in-law, Rodney Keith Barnes and Scotty James Barnes; her six kids that called her "Mama T" , Michael Cromer, Anna Mallard, Steven Dollar, Jessica Davis, Kate Cromer and Nicole Ebersole; several nieces, nephews and her special yellow labrador retriever, Stryker.
