Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 27, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Reynolds with Rev. Jeff Cummings officiating the service. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM, Friday at the church.
Steven was a member of First Baptist Church of Reynolds, owned and operated Southern Forest Piedmont Products and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was born October 18, 1949 in Macon, GA to the late Roy Nichols and Ruth Carter Smith.
Survivors include his longtime friend, Nancy Schoen of Roberta, GA and the boys he helped raise, Adam and Alan Schoen and their families; his step-mother, Normandee Nichols of Sand Rock, Alabama; two brothers, James C. Conner (Elaine) of Juliette, GA and Paul Nichols (Jessica) of Weaver, Alabama; niece and nephews, Susan Cook, Chase Nichols, Carter Nichols, Justin Nichols and Braydon Nichols; He is also survived by his many friends from Michigan and other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to First Baptist Church of Reynolds, P.O. Box 452, Reynolds, GA 31076.
