Stanley Oren Sullivan

MARSHALLVILLE, GA - Stanley Oren Sullivan, age 96, of Marshallville, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, March 4th, 2024.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Clearview Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 9th, 2024

Funeral Services celebrating Mr. Sullivan`s life will be held on Sunday, March 10th , 2024 at 10:00 am at Clearview Mennonite Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stanley was born on July 13, 1927 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Lawrence Sullivan and Stella Marie Ragan Sullivan. He worked for 25 years at General Motors as an Electrical Engineer. His life reflected his love for his Lord and his family. He proudly served in the United States Marines during WWII.

Survivors include his three children, Michelle Bontrager (Elroy) of Goshen, Indiana, Lydia Overholt (William) of Marshallville, Georgia, and Jennifer Love of Marshallville, Georgia; two siblings, Gloria Clephane (Jerrol) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Loretta Fahl (Norman) of Franklin, Indiana. He is also survived  by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Marjorie Lois Ackerman Sullivan; two siblings, Mark Sullivan and Deanna Derringer; two children, Colleen Decker and Annette Leinaweaver; along with one granddaughter, Lydia Knox.
