Skyler Black

Skyler Thomas Black, age 22, of Kathleen, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 2 pm at Whitewater Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia. Pastor Lance Bernard will be officiating the service. The family will greet friends from 1:30 to 2 pm prior to the service at the church.

Skyler was a 2021 graduate of Veterans High School in Kathleen, Georgia. He loved doing outdoor activities like fishing, water sports, snow skiing, hiking and camping. He also loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mom, Teresa Black; dad, Ronald Black; maternal grandparents, Gloria and Robert Kelley Jr.; paternal grandparents, Charles and Martha Black; three siblings, Alexis Jade Black, Destiny Brianne Jones and Miranda B. Davis.

Skyler is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Lillian and Robert Kelley Sr.; and maternal great grandparents, Doris and William Felker.
