Ms. Sherry Lewis Gaultney, age 44, of Montezuma, GA passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009.

Funeral Services were held at 3 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Montezuma United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Myers, Rev. Nancylee Cater and Rev. Mark Kinservik officiating.

Interment followed in the Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Gaultney was born in Americus, Georgia on February 1, 1965 to Gene and Joyce Lewis.She grew up in Montezuma and graduated from Georgia Southwestern School of Nursing.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Brittany Gaultney of Oglethorpe, GA and a daughter Megan Gaultney of Monroe, GA; her parents Gene and Joyce Lewis of Montezuma, GA; a brother Bobby Lewis of Montezuma, GA and her grandmother, Georgia Lewis Josey of Montezuma, GA.; uncles and aunts, Billy and Janet Lewis of Acworth, GA and Edmond and Sandra Mayo of Oglethorpe, GA. She is also survived by several cousins and her beloved dog, Molly

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of funeral arrangements.
