OGLETHORPE, GA - Mrs. Selma Kelley Dorsey, age 87, of Oglethorpe, GA passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA.
Funeral services were held 3:00 PM, Friday, Nov. 26 at Whitewater Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Hall and Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating.
Burial followed in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Visitation was Friday from 1 - 3 PM in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Dorsey was born in Ideal, GA, to the late William David Kelley and Lena Gresham Kelley. She was a retired bookkeeper with Montezuma Welding and a faithful member of Whitewater Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years and Director of WMU. She was also a member of the Oglethorpe Garden Club, Montezuma Music Club and Flint River Task Force. Selma'a love of people, flowers, her church, music, her community, missions, Sunday school and service to Christ will always be remembered.
