Sarah Faye Mccommon
July 5, 1939 — January 18, 2015
Mrs. McCommon was born on July 5, 1939 in Taylor County, GA to the late Berta Jones Weeks and John Weeks. She was also preceeded in death by her sister, Wynetta Grimsley and her three brothers, Frank Weeks, Tom Weeks and Tommy Weeks. She was a loyal and dedicated nurse for 56 years at The Oaks Nursing and Personal Care Home in Marshallville, GA, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Marshallville.
Mrs. McCommon is survived by her loving husband, Clayton McCommon of Marshallville, GA; one step-son, Richard(Martha) McCommon of Gulfport, MS and two step-grandchildren, Sherry (Joe) Bowen of Gulfport, MS and Sgt. Steven (Amanda) McCommon of Little Rock, AR; two step-great grandchildren; sister, Helen Greene of Garden Valley, GA; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends also survive.
Family will accept flowers.
