Sandra Diane Busbee

OGLETHORPE, GA- Sandra Diane Busbee, age 64, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Diane was born on January 14, 1960, in Montezuma, Georgia, to the late M.L. Jones and Myrtice Kelly Jones.

A memorial service celebrating Diane’s life will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Pine Level Methodist Church in Oglethorpe. Georgia. The family will receive friends at the church from 3 PM to 4 PM before the service.

Diane was a bus driver for over 25 years for Macon County School District. She loved driving the bus and caring for each child that rode her bus. She was a faithful member of Pine Level Methodist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Ms. Busbee is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Greg Busbee as well as her parents.

Diane is survived by her loving partner, Cregg Rockett of Oglethorpe, Georgia; son, Kelly Jones (Ashley) of Ideal, Georgia; sister, Marcia Ledtke; four grandchildren, Chaz Jones of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jacob Griffin of Andersonville, Georgia, Jonna Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kylie Jones of Ideal, Georgia; one neice, Kristi De La Rosa; and two nephews, Stephen Hawkins, and Matthew Hawkins.
