Visitation will be from 3 pm to 5 pm, Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Monday, December 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma. Burial will immediately follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA.
Samuel was born on February 4, 1942 in Macon County, GA to the late Alfred Felker and Ruthie Cromer Felker. He was a farmer and carpenter for many years until his health declined. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Marvin Felker, Roscoe Felker, Clifford Felker, Virginia Wisham, Florrie Smith, Dolly Ruth Dickerson and his beloved dogs Sandy and Luchy.
Survivors include his loving wife Beulah Johnson Felker of Beaufort, SC;6 children, Larise Felker of Oglethorpe, GA, John (Jenny) Felker of Ellaville, GA, Stephanie (Richard) Hudmon of Tallassee, Alabama, Brian (Kim) Felker of Watkinsville, GA, Melina (Daniel) Lee of Beaufort, SC, Donna Lynn Barfield Silver of Andersonville, GA; sister, Alfreta (Aubrey) Barfield of Macon, GA; 14 grandchildren, Ashley Lopez of Oglethorpe, GA, Justin (Jaime) Lopez of LaGrange, GA, Joshua Felker of Ellaville, GA, Jake Felker of Oglethorpe, GA, Leigh Walker of Ellaville, GA, Christopher (Hillary) Felker of Statesboro, GA, Neiko Felker of Watkinsville, GA, Dalvon Felker of Watkinsville, GA, Shawn Lee of Beaufort, SC, Christopher Lee Beaufort, SC, Erica Silver of Andersonville, GA, Jessica Owens of Ellaville, GA, Jamie Owens of Ellaville, GA and Joni Owens of Ellaville, GA.; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
