Ruby Layfield

Family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11 AM at Little Bethel Baptist Church in Ideal, GA. Rev. Sidney Jones and Rev. Randy Harris will officiate the services.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Layfield was born on January 31, 1916 near Mauk, GA to the late George W. Ray and Katie Massey Ray.She was a faithful member of Little Bethel Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school for many years and sang in the choir until her health declined in September of 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Layfield; son, Wayne Layfield; three sisters, Wynelle Ray, Martha Ellen Perdue and Blondell Layfield; two brothers, G.W. Ray, Jr. and Monroe Tyson Ray.

Pam Bell of Montgomery, AL
Theresa Neff and her husband Ken of Leesburg, GA
