OGLETHORPE, GA - Mrs. Ruby Linda James, 71, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.
Mrs. Ruby was born October 17, 1947 in Montezuma to the late Willie Bray James and Ruby Lee Teele James. She retired from the Macon State Prison where she was employed as an administrative secretary for many years. Mrs. Ruby was a member of the Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Harold Cunningham officiating.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her dear sister, Arnita Jowers and husband, Jay of Macon, Georgia. She is also survived by four nephews;Danny Windham, Jimmy Windham, Andy Windham, Charles Evans Jr.; three nieces: Vicki Doss, Allison Inhulsen and Karen Smith as well as great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Bray and Ruby Lee James; a brother, Willie Bray James Jr., and a sister, Lela Elene James Windham.
