Roy Travis Wallis

MONTEZUMA, GEORGIA - Roy Travis Wallis passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at his residence in Montezuma, Georgia at the age of 70. He was known as Travis to everyone.

Travis was a master mechanic and worked on Volkswagon Beetles for many years.  He loved Native American history and enjoyed collecting arrowheads and other artifacts throughout his life.

Born November 24, 1953 in Vienna GA, he was the son of Gertrude Sanders Wallis and the late Roy E. Wallis.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Franklin Lamar Lamberth and sister, Sandra Kay Wade. He is survived by his mother as well as nieces and nephews.

Per his request, Travis will be cremated with burial at a later date in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
