Family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.Rev. Tim Ferguson and Mr. Lyndsey Evans will officiate.
Burial will immediately follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Rose was born on June 3, 1936 in Tifton Georgia to the late Charlie Jones Apperson and Lucretia Hobby Apperson.She was of Baptist faith, a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.She worked at Cato's in Americus, Georgia until she retired.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children: Bonnie M. Parks of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jackie Ann Smith (Johnny) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Carolyn Jean Young of Oglethorpe, Georgia, and James W. Fletcher (Connie) of Jamestown, Tennessee, one sister; Georgia Grace Watson of Athens, Georgia. Also surviving are five grandchildren: James Christopher Fletcher (Kristen), Zachary Jeremiah Fletcher (Courtney), John Richard Crowe (Ricky), April Marie Bullard (Richard), Angie Reynolds and eight great-grandchildren: Jase Fletcher, Riley Fletcher, Kendall Jeremiah Fletcher, Dakota Bullard, Jordan Bryan Reynolds, Dakota Reynolds, Breanna Bullard, William Thomas Quinn and Madison Alexandra Quinn.She is preceded in death by her loving husband, B. H. Young.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be sent to Kindred Hospice, 319 Margie Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
