Rose Mcdaniel Woodruff

Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Garden Valley, GA with Rev. Mark Poole and Dr. Ron English officiating the service. Burial will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA.
Ms. Woodruff was born October 10, 1925 in Macon County, Georgia to the late James Clifford McDaniel and Frances Hortense Slaton McDaniel. She worked as an LPN for many years, and was employed by the Macon County Clinic and Riverside Sanatorium. In addition to her parents, Ms. Woodruff was preceded in death by two brothers, Brooks McDaniel and Billy McDaniel, and two sisters, Winnie Fielder and Frances Mullis.
Ms. Woodruff is survived by her children, Ken (Linda) Woodruff of Milledgeville, GA and Diane (Richard) Hudson of Marietta, GA; siblings, Mary Lumpkin of Reynolds, GA, James McDaniel of Reynolds, GA, Gloria (Blanton) Harris of Milledgeville, GA, and Brenda (Ron) English of Norman, OK. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, c/o Larry Layfield, 2061 Butler Mill Rd., Reynolds, GA 31076.
