Rosa Nell Payne

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Poole officiating.
Nell was born in Byromville, Georgia on July, 27, 1925 to the late Wilmont Peaster and Macie Shirah Peaster. She was employed with Mitchum's Department Store in Montezuma for over 30 years.
Nell will lovingly be remembered by her son, Robert Payne and wife, Beth of Oglethorpe, Georgia; one daughter, Linda Chapman of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister, Era Mae Youngblood of Byromville, Georgia.Seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Payne, two brothers and a sister.
