Ronnie Harris, age 57 of Oglethorpe, GA passed away Monday, November 9, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 7 PM, Tuesday, Nov. 10 in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Jennie Peterson officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Ronnie was employed with the Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in the death by his father, Pete Harris. He was an army veteran and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his mother, Christine Harris of Oglethorpe, GA; two sons, Jeremy (Melanie) Harris of Orlando, FL, Chad Harris of Oglethorpe, GA; two sisters, Angela (David) Robbins of Oglethorpe, GA, Trina Youngblood of Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Thomas Harris of Americus, GA; two grandchildren, Max and Jamie Harris, several nieces, nephews and numerous friends also survive.
