Roland Arthur Warren

Roland Arthur Warren, age 90, of Montezuma, GA passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at his daughter's residence in Summerville, GA.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, May 20 in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma with Minister Clif Dennis officiating. Interment will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 19 at the funeral home.

Mr. Warren was born on January 12, 1919 in Blount County, Alabama to the late John Henry Warren and Delia Walker Warren. He was an Evangelist with the Church of Christ for over fifty years and was a member of the Oglethorpe Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Levie Warren of Montezuma, GA; children, Neal and Myrna Warren of Summerville, GA, Ila and Wallace King of Summerville, GA, Kenneth and Candyce Warren of Antioch, CA; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
