OGLETHORPE, GA - Robert "Meat" Mitchell Wisham, age 54, of Oglethorpe, GA passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel of Watson-Mathews at 3 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Kirksey officiating.
Mr. Wisham was born in Montezuma, GA February 1, 1959 to the late Bobby Joseph Wisham, Sr. and Linda Louise Mygrant Wisham. He was employed by Scarbary's Propane Service in Montezuma and loved fishing and grilling in his spare time.
Mr. Wisham is survived by a brother, Bobby Joseph "Joe" Wisham, Jr. of Oglethorpe, GA; a step-brother, Marty (Trina) Youngblood of Oglethorpe, GA; and a step-sister, Elaine Woodard of Oglethorpe, GA. He also leaves behind five nieces, Daisy (Jason) Cromer of Rupert, GA, Nancy (Adam) Tramel of Oglethorpe, GA, Buttons (Dale) Jordan of Oglethorpe, GA, Christy (Brandon) Adam of Perry, GA, and Keisha Youngblood of Oglethorpe, GA; and one nephew, Duwayne Woodard of Oglethorpe, GA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mr. Wisham's niece, Daisy Cromer 34 Ga Hwy 90 W, Rupert, GA 31081, to help with funeral expenses.
