UVALDA, GA - Mr. Robert "Bobby" Lewis Cromer, 70, from Uvalda, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Meadows Park Health and Rehab Center in Vidalia.
Born October 13, 1950, in Ideal, Georgia, he was the son of the late J. W. Cromer and Charity Elizabeth "Lizzie" Smith Cromer.With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army and was a truck driver for Merrill Anderson Trucking, Inc. until his retirement.He loved spending time with his family, playing the guitar, riding his motorcycle, and trading cars.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Johnny Cromer officiating. Burial will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Survivors include his three sisters: Marcia Roach (Bob) from Bonaire, Georgia, Renay Bray (Jimmy) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Roxie Parker of Pitts, Georgia, along with several nieces and nephews.Also, surviving are extended family members: Merrill and Ann Anderson, Charles and Megan Anderson, Charleigh Anderson, Tessley Anderson, Tommy Anderson, Cooper Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nedra Benford and Carla Lund.
Serving as pallbearers are Merrill Anderson, Charles Anderson, Luke Bray, Lance Reagan, Ernie Bellew, Jimmy Smith, and honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Bray, Bob Roach, Harry Hall, Jeff Ashton, and Donald Lockwood.
