Robert Glynn Brooks

He was born in Ideal, Georgia on November 15, 1935 to the late Thomas Brooks and Eva Brewer Brooks. Robert proudly served his country and retired from the Marine Corp. as a Master Sergeant.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22nd at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA.
A funeral service with full military honors will be held at 12:00 PM at the Rostrum at Andersonville National Cemetery on Thursday, May 23rd.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM, to go in procession to the cemetery.
Survivors include his son, Robert Glynn Brooks, Jr. (Angela) of Lakeland, Florida; two step-children: Chris Jenkins (Larry) of Ft. Meade, Florida and Clinton Lewis (Margie) of Ft. Meade, Florida; two sisters: Polly Raburn of Ideal, Georgia and Frenchie Collier of Albany, Georgia. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma Eversole Brooks and five siblings: Nettie Bryant, Helen James, Marian Raburn, Virginia McDonald and Edward Brooks.
