Rev. Ted A. Ross, Sr., age 66, of Dooling, GA passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services were held 2:00 PM, Monday, Feb.8, in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma with Rev. Ralph Price officiating. Burial followed in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.

Ted was born Nov. 7, 1943, in Chattanooga, TN, to the late Ernest Albert Ross and Robbie Lou Ramsey. He was a retired fireman with Tice Fire Department in Fort Myers, FL and was maintenance manager for Orange Harbor Mobile Home Park. He was a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center in Oglethorpe, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Ann Ross of Dooling, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ted A. (Lynda) Ross, Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa (Frank) Boring of Ellaville, GA; step daughter and step son-in-law, Kimberly (Curtiss) Kicliter of Marshallville, GA; step son and step daughter-in-law, Mike (Lisa) Runk of Lehigh Acres, FL; step daughter, Becky Howell of Lehigh Acres, FL;

17 grandchildren, Nathan Ross, Natalie Ross, Jared (Annie) Hamp, Jacob Tyree, Kristen Tyree, Leigh Cates, Westley Kicliter, Travis Kicliter, Kaitlin Kicliter, Curtiss Kicliter III, Chance Runk, Hanaah Runk, Olivia Runk, Jacob Howell, Abbey Howell, Jason Howell and Elizabeth Howell. 3 great grandchildren, Andrew Hamp, Riley Hamp and Christopher Kicliter. Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ross and sister Martha Ross.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Heritage Worship Center, P.O. 248, Montezuma, GA 31063.
