The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 3 PM, Sunday, November 15th at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home with Brother Troy Fripp officiating. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA.
Mr. Barfield was born on January 28, 1957 in Americus, GA to the late James Everette Barfield and Ethel Elizabeth Miles Barfield. He was the Pastor of Sand Bethel Church in Rupert, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Barfield of Oglethorpe, GA; 5 children, Rachel and Allen Shutters of Americus, GA, Joseph Barfield of Oglethorpe, GA, Ron and Laura Little of Ellaville, GA, JamesWatson and Courtney Williams of Warner Robins, GA, Chris and Nikki Watson of Ellaville, GA; 2 sisters, Sara and David Nelson of Montezuma, GA and LaQuita and Wanzie Collins of Macon, GA; and 17 grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted.
