Reba Trotter
January 19, 1945 — August 4, 2015
Mrs. Trotter was born January 19, 1945 in Macon, GA to the late Newman Edward Newberry and Bessie Ross Newberry. She attended Midway Baptist Church in Lizella, GA as a child and lived in Metter, GA for over twenty years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trotter was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Trotter, and seven siblings.
Mrs. Trotter is survived by her companion, Steve Vogt of Metter, GA; three children: Doris (Jesse) Chastain of Ideal, GA, Steven Vogt of North Carolina, and James Vogt of Augusta, GA; and a sister, Lillie Mae (Ted) Davidson of Bonaqua, TN. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Edward Allen Chastain, Jimmy David (Jessica) Chastain, Jessie (Nicholas) Spires, Christina Vogt, Gabbie Vogt, and Chloe Vogt; three great-grandchildren: Lexi Mae Spires, Elizabeth Faye Chastain, and Katie Lane Chastain; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
