Pazzie Taylor

OGLETHORPE, GA - Pazzie Taylor, age 64, of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her residence.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia. Pastor Damon Fountain will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Chris Taylor, Rocky Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Wade Davis, Michael Duke and Philip Davis.

Pazzie was born on August 18, 1959 in Fort Valley, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Taylor; father, James Thompson and brother, James Edward Thompson. Pazzie drove the School Bus from Macon County to Southland Academy in Americus for several years. Pazzie worked at Britt’s Dry Cleaners in Montezuma, Georgia for 20 plus years.

Pazzie is survived by her mother, Minerva C. Thompson, of Oglethorpe, Georgia; two daughters, Monica Taylor Duke and husband Jonathan of Oglethorpe, Georgia and Melissa Morua of Richland, Georgia; six grandchildren, Bianca Williams, Destiny Protho, Kaley Williams, Jonna Duke, Bryce Protho and Jesse Duke; two great grandchildren, Kameron Cochran and Peyton Dykes.
