VIENNA, GA - Mrs. Paula Ann Worthington, 56, of Vienna, Georgia passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
She was born June 30, 1962 in Macon, Georgia to Wilma Hurdle Williams and the late Donald Hurdle. Paula was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia.She was employed as a counselor with Macon State Corrections in Oglethorpe, Georgia.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Riverview Baptist Church and Rev. Jeremy Barrett will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Cedar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving mother, Wilma Williams and step-father, Herman Williams of Vienna, Georgia; a stepson,Bill (Amanda) Worthington of Gray, Georgia; two brothers, Terry Hurdle (Sondra) of Vienna, Georgia and Greg (Janice) Hurdle of Gainesville, Florida; two step-grandchildren: Caleb and Alana Worthington; two nieces: Emily Hurdle and Summer McKinsey; two nephews: Clay Hurdle and Noah Hurdle; a great niece, Rachel McKinsey and great-nephew, Matt McKinsey.She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Edward ("Jimmy") Worthington and father, Donald Hurdle.
