MONTEZUMA, GA - Paul W. Yoder was born on April 1, 1949, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to William N. Yoder and Emma (Weaver) Yoder.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Clearview Mennonite Fellowship Church.Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church.Interment will follow at Clearview Mennonite Church Cemetery.
On January 7, 1972, he and Kathryn Yoder were joined in holy matrimony.They enjoyed 45 years of sharing life together.After courageously battling cancer for 2 ½ years, he gained a new body and his eternal reward on June 19, 2017.He committed his life to Christ in his younger years and remained faithful to the end.He invested his life in his family and the church.He enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years.He dearly loved his children and grandchildren and sacrificed much for them.He was a life-long dairy farmer and enjoyed working with his children and grandchildren on the farm.Surviving, along with his wife, Kathryn, are his children:Joann Yoder of Montezuma, Georgia, Janet Yoder of Montezuma, Georgia, Carol (Delmer) Plank of Cross Hill, South Carolina, Karen Yoder of Waynesboro, Georgia, Wayne Yoder of Montezuma, Georgia and Keith Yoder of Montezuma, Georgia. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Shirley, Sharon, Ronnie, and Regina Yoder; Wyatt, Delana, Vicki and Brent Plank; eight siblings: Noah Yoder, Lovina Yoder, Norman Yoder, William Yoder, Jr., Ernest Yoder, David Yoder, Ivan Yoder, and Susan Yoder.Preceding him in death are his parents, William N. and Emma Yoder and one niece, Margaret Yoder.
