ALPHARETTA, GA - Olwine Patricia Lewis Moxley, age 86, formerly of Byromville, Ga, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Dogwood Forest Assisted Living Home in Alpharetta. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home in Macon, Ga. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the Mausoleum Chapel.
Mrs. Moxley was born May 2, 1926 to the late Henry Harrison Kirkpatrick and Carrie Lee McDougal Kirkpatrick. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins and a member of the Homemakers Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Maj. James P. Lewis; and her second husband, Maj. Frank E. Moxley.
Mrs. Moxley is survived by her son, James P. Lewis, Jr. of Woodstock, Ga,; two daughters Lorraine Lewis Davalos of Canton, Ga. and Wanda Lewis (Jimmy) Jordan of Byromville, Ga.; and a sister, Audrey Lee Kirkpatrick Dodd of Macon, Ga. In addition, she leaves behind eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
