Patsy English

Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” English, age 81, of Oglethorpe, GA passed away Monday morning, June 5, 2023, at her residence.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Patsy’s remarkable life. The visitation will be Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM, held at Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe, GA. Pastor Steve Hilgeman will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Patsy was born in Macon County, GA on March 23, 1942, to the late James Dominy and Susie Hines Dominy. Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Jane Price. Patsy was an Associate Probate Judge in Macon County for many years. Patsy was also a faithful member of Mt. Zion – St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe, GA.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 60 plus years, Grady Hill English of Oglethorpe, GA, daughter, Patricia English Pinckney and husband Robert of Perry, GA; two granddaughters, Rebecca Pinckney of Perry, GA, and Mary Catherine Pinckney Eller and husband Mikey of Pooler, GA, and one great-granddaughter Isabelle Rose Pinckney Greene of Perry, GA.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Patsy to Mt. Zion – St. Luke Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 187, Oglethorpe, GA 31068.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA has been entrusted with arrangements.
