CAIRO, GA - Nell Cromer Taylor, age 69 of Cairo, GA, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma with Rev. Johnny Cromer officiating. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
Nell was born on November 30, 1942 in Schley County, GA to the late Jessie Cromer and Fannie Griggers Cromer. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed music and playing drums in her spare time. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda K. Taylor; two sisters; four brothers and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her companion, Anderson Deane Sellers of Cairo, GA; two daughters, Tammi Barnes and husband Joey of Ideal, GA and Amanda Taylor of Tallahassee, FL; one stepson, Joseph Sellers of Cairo, GA; two sisters, Joann B. Brown and husband Thomas of Cairo, GA; Helen Wilson and husband James of Hawkinsville, GA and one brother, John Cromer of Cairo, GA; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma in in charge of funeral arrangements.
