Nell Satterfield Grizzle

June 30, 1918 — September 23, 2008

Mrs. Nell Satterfield Grizzle, age 90, of Montezuma, GA, passed away Tuesday evening, September 23, 2008 at the Montezuma Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be 2 P.M., Thursday, September 25, at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma with Rev. Michael Truitt officiating.

She was born on June 30, 1918 in Gwinnett County, GA to the late Daniel Jasper Satterfield and Mary Wallis Satterfield. She was formerly employed with Elrod's 5 & 10 and was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with flowers and gardening. She was married for 68 years to the late, Jack Grizzle and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Lee Howard of Clarksville, GA; two sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas Grizzle of Montezuma, GA, Dan and Mary Jane Grizzle of Andersonville, GA; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Valley Baptist Church, 120 S. Dooly Street, Montezuma, GA 31063.
