Nedra C. Benford

Mrs. Nedra C. Benford, age 59, of Oglethorpe, Ga passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Services were Tuesday, September 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Still Water Chapel in Ideal, GA with Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. Johnny Cromer officiating.Burial followed in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.

Visitation was Monday, September 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Watson- Mathews Funeral Home.

Mrs. Benford was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She was born October 1, 1949 in Macon County, Georgia to the late J. W. Cromer and Lizzie Smith Cromer.

Mrs.Benford is survived by her husband, Stoney Benford of Oglethorpe, Ga; two daughters; Candy (Ernie) Bellew Oglethorpe, Ga and Terry Ann Christy (Chris Noteware) of Perry, GA; brother; Bobby Cromer of Lyons, Ga; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carla Lund of Oglethorpe,Ga, Marcia C. (Bob) Roach of Warner Robins,Ga, Renay (Jimmy) Bray of Oglethorpe,Ga and Roxie (Ronnie) Parker of Pitts, Ga; grandchildren; Kent (Julia) Reagan II, Lance (Jessica) Reagan, Christopher Bellew and Angel H. Noteware.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of arrangements.
