A funeral mass will be held, Sunday, January 29, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Montezuma at 12:00 Noon with Father Nam Kim officiating.
A visitation will be held immediately after the mass at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma from 2 to 5 PM.
His remains will be shipped to Sacramento Memorial Lawn Funeral Home, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA for services and burial.
Mr. Nguyen was born on October 9, 1949 in Kienan, Vietnam to the late Loc Vu Nguyen and Ngan Nguyen. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and worked as a poultry grower at Red Oaks Farms in Oglethorpe, GA.
Survivors include his loving wife, Luon Nguyen of Oglethorpe, GA; his 8 children, Max Nguyen of Fort Worth, TX, Tuyen Nguyen of Sacramento, CA, Tuan Nguyen of Sacramento, CA, Kimchi Nguyen of Sacramento, CA, Trung Nguyen of Fort Worth, TX, NgocDiep Nguyen of Sacramento, CA, Leonard Nguyen of Sacramento, CA and MongDiep Nguyen of Sacramento, CA; 4 sisters, Hanh Nguyen, La Bui, Non Bui and Lua Nguyen all of Sacramento, CA; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is in charge of funeral arrangements.
