Mrs. Sheila Diane Fowler

Mrs. Sheila Diane Fowler, age 72, of Andersonville, Georgia passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at Atrium Health Navicent Hospital of Macon, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at Little Bethel Cemetery in Ideal, Georgia, and Brother Troy Fripp will officiate. The family will receive friends at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home on March 25, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service. The family asks those attending to please wear her favorite color, blue for the graveside service.

Born July 3, 1949, in Ellaville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Yarbrough and Juanita Barfield Yarbrough. She was of Baptist faith and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She dearly loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and also her animals and flowers.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her two children; Jody Hudson of Columbus, Georgia and Sheila Bodrey and husband Greg of Andersonville, Georgia; brother, Roy Yarbrough, Jr. and wife Donna of Ellaville, Georgia; two sisters, Elaine Ray and husband Kevin of Daytona, Florida, and Vera Williamson of Oglethorpe, Georgia. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; Makahla Jones (Marcus), James Bodrey, Tabatha Derrington, Kaleb Dunn, Chad Hudson, Taylor Henderson, and eleven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Allen Fowler, and sister, Peggy Barfield.
