Mr. Arthur H. Reeves Jr.

Mr. Arthur H. Reeves, Jr. of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, Georgia.

Services will be private. He will be laid to rest in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.

He was born January 23, 1924, in Jonesboro, Georgia to the late Arthur Hollis Reeves and Effie Ross Reeves. He graduated from Oglethorpe High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and later went to work with Robins Air Force Base where he retired after 31 years of service.

Mr. Arthur was a member of Travelers Rest Masonic Lodge #65 and F. Rawls Hogg VFW#6442. He was also of the Baptist faith..

Survivors include his son, Lee Reeves of Oglethorpe, Georgia and daughter, Susan Wilkerson of Cordele, Georgia and a brother, Bobby Reeves and wife Becky of Peachtree City, Georgia and a grandchild, Leann Albritton of Cordele, Georgia as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pauline Williams Reeves and a sister, Josephine Reynolds.
